Tracking numbers

Add or fix the tracking number on a box that has shipped, and email it to your customer.

Shipped a box without the tracking number handy? You can add it after. Once a box is marked shipped by carrier, the order shows + Add tracking for it.

Add a tracking number

  1. Open the order. On the Overview tab, open Fulfilment. You can also use the Production tab, under Fulfillment.
  2. Find the shipment and press + Add tracking.
  3. Paste the Tracking number and type the Carrier, like UPS or Canada Post.
  4. Leave the email box ticked to send the customer the tracking link.
  5. Press Save and email (it shows your customer's first name), or Save if you unticked the email.

A box with no number shows a note in amber: the customer's track page has nothing to follow. That is your reminder.

Fix a wrong number

Press Edit tracking on the shipment, fix it and save. When you edit, the email box starts unticked, so the customer is not emailed twice unless you want them to be.

What your customer sees

The number shows on their track page as soon as you save, under Shipping, with a Track package button that opens the carrier's page. If you sent the email, they get "Your order has shipped" with the number and a button to track it.

No email on the order? Nothing is sent. The number still shows on the track page.
