When a printer says Offline
What each warning on a printer card means and the quick fix for it, from a sleeping computer to a changed access code.

Your printers reach Layers3D through the shop agent. When a card in Production › Fleet says something is wrong, it is almost always one of these.
Offline, or Waiting for the agent
Every printer shows this at once when the shop agent can't reach Layers3D. Check the computer it runs on:
- Is it on and awake? Turn off sleep on that computer. Prints already running keep going, and everything catches up once it is back.
- On that computer, open http://localhost:4011 in a browser. If nothing loads, the agent isn't running. Start it again (on Windows, sign out and back in).
- In Shop setup › Slicing › Agent and computer, press Check status. It says whether the agent is connected.
Only one printer offline? Check it is switched on and on the same network as the agent's computer.
Access code rejected
A Bambu printer's access code can change, for example after a reset. Read the code on the printer's screen, the same place as when you added it (see Add your printers). Press Edit on its card and type it in again.
No access code
The printer was found on your network, but nobody typed its code yet. Press Edit on its card and add it.
Its address keeps changing
Your router gives the printer a new address now and then. Layers3D finds it again, but the card can show Offline for up to ten minutes each time. The card says so and has How to fix. Tell your router to always give that printer the same address. Routers call this an address reservation or a fixed IP.

Still stuck
On the agent's computer, open http://localhost:4011/log. Copy the last lines, then open Help inside Layers3D and choose Message us. Paste them in, since they say what the agent tried and why it failed.
Still stuck? Inside Layers3D, open Help and choose Message us. A person answers.
