More than one colour on a part
Let customers ask for two or more colours on a plain STL, charge for each extra colour, and get the file painted before it prints.

A painted 3MF already carries its colours. A plain STL has one, so the customer tells you which bit gets which colour.
What the customer does
- On your quote page, on an FDM part, they tap + Use more than one colour.
- They pick up to 4 colours.
- They write which bit gets which, like "logo in red, the rest black".
The order shows every colour and their note on the part.
Charge for each extra colour
Go to Shop setup › Prices and cleanup › Rules every price follows › Finishes and extras, and fill in Each extra colour. It's a price per piece for every colour past the first, on FDM parts, and it counts painted 3MFs too. It starts at 0, so nothing changes until you set it.
When it's set and your quote page shows prices, the customer sees what each extra colour adds.
Paint the file
A part ordered in more colours than its file has says Paint the file on the order. Paint it in your slicer and put the painted 3MF on the part.
Until then, auto-queue waits for the painted file instead of printing only the first colour, and Send to printer warns you which colour would be missing.
