Price a part in other materials

Price the same file in PETG, ASA or resin without uploading it again, and let the customer pick on the estimate.

Customer wants to compare materials? Price the same file a few ways and let them choose.

Price it

  1. Open the order. On the part, open Edit and click Price in other materials.
  2. Pick up to 4 other materials. Each row can be another process too, like resin. Your engine prices each one from your own rates.
  3. Change any price you want.
  4. Click Copy for an email to paste the list into a reply, or Show on estimate.

What the customer sees

On the estimate, a line called Same part in other materials sits under the part. Tapping one switches their order to that material, and the total updates. They can switch back until they approve.

Change or take it off

Open Price in other materials again to change the rows and click Save, or click Take off estimate.

The choices stop once the customer approves. After that the part stays in the material they picked.
