Formlabs printers on your fleet

See your Form 4, Form 4L, Form 3 or Form Studio 1 next to your other printers: what it is printing, time left and the resin in each cartridge.

A Formlabs printer connected to your shop gets its own card in Production › Fleet, laid out like your Bambu cards.

Connect your Formlabs account

Layers3D reads your printers through your Formlabs account. To connect it, open Help in Layers3D and choose Message us. We set it up with you.

Once it is on, every Formlabs printer on that account shows on Fleet within a minute.

What the card shows

  1. The printer's name, model and picture.
  2. While it prints: the job name, progress, the layer it is on and the time left.
  3. When a print ends: Finished with the job name and when, and parts still on the platform until someone takes them off.
  4. Resin: one tile per cartridge with what is left, in % and mL. A Form 4L shows both, front and back. Under them, the tank's resin and how many layers it has printed.
  5. A link to the order when the job name starts with the order number, like M-1042 bracket.
Name your PreForm jobs with the order number first. Then the card links straight to the order.

A cartridge at 15% or less, or empty, turns red so you see it before the next print.

What it can't do yet

Formlabs printers are monitor only. Send jobs from PreForm as you do now. The card refreshes every 30 seconds while Fleet is open, and Formlabs gives no live camera picture.
