Print parts together on one plate

Tick parts on an order's Print plan and lay them out on shared plates, sliced as one file. Pick one layer height, move parts yourself, or drop in your own Bambu Studio project.

Small parts print faster side by side. Print together lays the parts you tick on as few plates as it takes, by their outline, and your shop PC slices each plate.

Put parts together

  1. Open the order and go to Production › Print plan.
  2. Tick the parts to print together. One part with several copies works too.
  3. Press Print 3 parts together (it names how many). They are laid out on the printer the plan uses, and sent to your slicing agent.
  4. When the plates come back, check each one and press Approve plate. With the print queue on, Send to printer sends the approved plates.

Each plate shows its picture, the parts on it, the print time and the grams. Time and filament are split across the parts, so each one's cost stays right.

Print together needs your printer's profile saved as a Bambu Studio project (.3mf), not a .json profile.

Parts at different layer heights

One plate prints at one layer height. If the parts you ticked slice at different heights, a window asks: Print them on one plate? Press Print all at 0.20 mm (or the height you want). Each part is set to it and they are laid out together. The price does not change.

Move parts yourself

Press ⋯ on a plate and pick Edit plate. Drag a part, turn it, or move it to another plate or a new one. Press Save and re-slice. A part off the bed or touching another is refused, and your layout is kept when you re-slice.

Take off in the same menu takes a part off the plate. It slices on its own again.

Use your own Bambu Studio project

Press ⋯ on the plates and pick Download for Bambu Studio. Arrange it in Bambu Studio, save, and drop the .3mf back on the order. It replaces the plates those parts were on.

No brim

Bambu Studio adds a brim to some parts on its own. To stop it, go to Shop setup › Machines, open the machine, press Change beside Layer height and set Brim to Off.
