Parts you printed before

When a customer sends parts again, New order spots them and offers last time's prices, side by side with today's.

A customer sends parts 1, 2 and 4 of an old job again? Start the order as usual. As the files land, Layers3D looks for the same parts on earlier orders.

How it finds them

A part counts as printed before if it is the same file, a file with the same name, or the same size and volume under a new name. With a customer picked, it only looks at that customer's orders.

Use last time's prices

  1. Go to Orders, click + New Order and attach the files.
  2. A box over the parts says how many were printed before, on which order, what they came to last time and what they come to at today's prices.
  3. Each matching part gets a Printed before tag with last time's qty, price and material.
  4. Press Compare to see last time and today side by side, part by part. Pick Last or Today for each one.
  5. Or press Use last time's prices to fill in the qty, price and spec from the old order.

The new order says it is a reorder of the old one and links to it. Changed your mind? Press Undo in the box.

Parts they left out

Parts from the old order they did not send this time show under Not sent this time. Press Add it to put one back on, priced as last time.

No customer picked yet? The box offers to use the old order's customer, like Use Priya as the customer, so the order goes on the right account.

A material or colour you no longer offer is left for you to pick, and the part says which.
